To close our season, The Hampton Roads Philharmonic is proud to partner with Moxart. Moxart (“Mox-art”) is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 dedicated to providing skilled amateur soloists the opportunity to shine in concertos alongside orchestral ensembles.

This exciting addition to our season features two pillars of the piano concerto repertoire. Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 is a journey of elegance and drama. Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor takes the listener through sweeping melodies and evocative harmonies.
