Develop the Artist in You with Abralene White
Students with beginning to intermediate skills in acrylic painting will learn how to create a variety of brush strokes; learn the elements of art and principles of design to create exceptional art compositions; explore how to use color to express a feeling or mood in their art; and the use of art vocabulary to discuss their art and that of well-known artists.
*Supplies are not included. Student supply list will be provided on Day One of the class; Estimated cost of supplies is $25*

About the Instructor
Mrs. White has 38 years of experience as a public-school art teacher, teaching levels from high school to elementary school. Thirty-seven of those years were as a Newport News Public Schools Art Teacher. Mrs. White earned a Master of Art Degree and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and Hampton University, respectively.
