About the artist
We first got to know artist and educator Clayton Singleton when he was featured in our Newport News Community Gallery with the “In Ella's Lifetime” group exhibit and the solo exhibition “Future, Love, Paradise”, both in 2017. Since then, his art has continued to evolve and flourish. According to Singleton, “my work echoes opportunities and moments in life which urge us forward and continue to inspire each of us to define our own beauty through living”.
