Join K’bana Blaq for this free six-week session, exploring the power of words. While analyzing the work of renowned poets and musicians, participants will discuss the effect of those words on our circles of influence, mood and interpretation of the world around us.

Class will begin with a pre-recorded performance, featuring work by the week’s artist of discussion, by musician and artist, K’bana Blaq- followed by a 30 min. group discussion and Q & A. Click here to register for online or in-person classes.

Empowering Kids to Positively Change The World!

Stir It Up is a series of art and drama workshops where kids can come together and create while discussing different topics. Each session will begin with an exercise in the dramatic arts led by actor, director, and master puppeteer, James Cooper of TLC Puppets. After the opening exercise, art instructor Tamika Bright-Stubblefield will lead the group in a different design project. The Vision Is Power (V.I.P.) Vision Board Party is back for a mid-year motivation session. Author and life coach, Tawanda Prince presents a fun and life-changing session where you can re-examine, refocus and advance your goals in 2020.
