As the lives of artists Taswir T. Abdul Musawir, George Stanley Jr., and Patrick Mills have shifted and evolved with time, so have their artistic styles and expressions. (-ISM ) is a journey across all artistic genres and media including expressionism, impressionism, and realism in gouache, acrylic, oil, and watercolor.

(-ISM) will be displayed in our Newport News Community Gallery from June 11-29, 2019, with an artist reception on June 15, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm. Meet the artists and learn about their journeys. We also welcome questions from the audience. Completely free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP is appreciated but not required.
