Conversations with James Baldwin... Today - Artist Talkback with K'bana Blaq

Participants are expected to watch the video prior to the talkback. The video will not be screened during the artist talkback.

About The Video

Conversations with James Baldwin...Today is a 45-minute production starring K'bana Blaq. This presentation asks if James Baldwin was alive today, what would he say and how would it affect the world?

K'bana Blaq plays with time and challenges our minds to think beyond the lines that were created in history to help us remember the power of our ancestors and their contributions. The past meets the present using today's technology.

Teddy Jerome Reynolds is a very driven journalist and musician who is infatuated with the writings of James Baldwin and wants to interview him and tell his story. And the stars have aligned and wish has come true.

Let the conversation begin...
