In her first solo exhibit, Ashley Rodgers presents a visual diary on strength, resiliency, and freedom. While she honors phenomenal black women throughout history who persevered in the face of adversity, she encourages reflection on the lives we lead, the struggles we face, and the impact we make when we accept the call to rise above it all.

During the opening reception patrons will get to contribute to the exhibit by helping to create a collaborative art journal. Patrons will add their thoughts or feelings they experienced during the exhibit to the journal to be displayed for the duration of the exhibit
