Visual artists, musicians, writers, make-up artists, dancers, crafters and more - Join us for this one-of-a-kind mixer for artists of all types on September 27th. Its the perfect opportunity to rub elbows with other creative people and establish connections for future collaborations. Enjoy light refreshments, play games (with prizes), and learn more about what Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center can offer you. This event is free but RSVP is requested.

Order of Events
Introduction and explanation of business card raffle - 7:15pm
Speed drawing: Guests will sit down with someone new for 5 minutes and attempt to draw them while getting to know more about each other – 7:30-7:45pm
Ms. Ateba Gaines will speak about entrepreneurship in the arts - 8:00-8:15pm
Photo scavenger hunt: Guests will partner with someone new and match photographs with the correct title from pieces within the Newport News Gallery, the foyer, and the Anderson Johnson Gallery - 8:25-8:40 pm
Pick business card winner and photo scavenger hunt winners - 8:45-8:50 pm
Closing remarks and quick survey - 8:50-9:00 pm
