Theatre Games Day
We'll do a variety of theatrical activities, games, and exercises to see what theater can be, and have fun doing it. If you were a fly on the wall, one moment you might see us all practicing our sneaky walks; another a group exercise in pairs. You also might see us exploring how we move when we're feeling hot, cold, or itchy; and another the kids playing a game where they get to practice being the Best or Worst ____ in the world (waitstaff, zookeeper, cook, etc.)
April 6
Glow Party
How do black lights work? Can I create my own glow-in-the-dark creations? Today, we break out the glow sticks and music for a party. Dress in some bright colors for the most MEMORABLE glow camp experience. No need to bring your own glow sticks, we will provide everything needed!
April 7
Rainbow Productions, That’s The Truth
Rainbow Puppets presents a trio of character-developing storybook favorites. Pinocchio, Rumpelstiltskin, and the Wolf Crier explore the importance of always telling the truth. Pinocchio's lies are as plain as the nose on his face... and wait until you see it grow, live and onstage! In Rumpelstiltskin, a father's lies could mean disaster for his beloved daughter. And finally, the Wolf Crier tells the tale of a shepherd who cries wolf once too often.
