About the artist

This week we are highlighting the work of JaQuay Copeland. We first met Copeland at our artist mixer “The Mix”, where she displayed her incredible skills as a live painter. Copeland is a contemporary portrait artist whose distinctive style emanates joy, liveliness, and most notably expresses the vibrant spirit of the African American culture. After more than two decades of artistic engagement, she enjoys continuously bringing art and artistic entertainment to a variety of settings throughout the DMV area.
