Charlotte Blake Alston

Today, Charlotte Blake Alston shares African Folktales and music at festivals, schools, universities, museums, and libraries and on stages around the world. She’s worked with musicians and dance troupes, and often performs with symphony orchestras and other musical groups, including the Philadelphia and Cleveland Orchestras, Orpheus Chamber Ensemble, and the Carnegie Hall Jazz Band. She has received many awards and honors for her remarkable storytelling.
