AUDITIONS - Hiram And Nettie: A Slave Love Story

Auditions for Hiram and Nettie: A Slave Love Story will be held on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, April 10 - 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM

  • Friday, April 12 - 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM

  • Saturday, April 13 - 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM

In order to audition, arrive at Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center and head upstairs to the 3rd floor music room during the designated time frame. You do not have to prepare anything to audition. At the auditions, you will be provided with a short monologue to read. You may also be asked to sing a simple song depending on what the director (Michael LeMelle) has in mind for character placement. AUDITIONS ARE OPEN TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES. There are no clothing requirements for this audition. Because there are some scenes in this production that may be intense for young viewers, parental discretion with auditions is advised.

This production is scheduled to be presented in June of 2019 and will be directed by Michael LeMelle.
