Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center Celebrates Ella Fitzgerald's Birthday
Throughout the month of April, Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center hosted multiple artists and groups in honor of the 27th Annual Ella Fitzgerlad Music Festival that is celebrated across Newport News, Virginia.
On April 7th we hosted the USAF Heritage Brass Band Ensemble, followed by the Ben Rosenblum Trio on the evening of April 12th. All these wonderful groups lead up to the musical acts of Peter Collins on April 25, accompanied by Newport News native, Taylor G. On the final evening of April 26, the crowd was entertained by the talents of Jazzmeia Horn with Sharp Radway.
We thank everyone that came out to support these artists from near and hope you had as much fun as we did!
